Trying to get healthier and look better…one blog post at a time!

Sweet Potato Chips

I recently bought a mandoline slicer after looking at them for a while and got to use it for the first time tonight! Walmart had sweet potatoes on sale last week, so I stocked up on a few. I’ve had a couple of baked sweet potatoes which were great, but I’ve really been wanting to make some chips.

I used the crinkle/waffle cut blade on my mandoline, a drizzle of olive oil, and a sprinkle of cinnnamon. Then I popped them into the oven (about 425) for about ten minutes. I flipped them over halfway through. I decided to put them on a cooling rack to help them get a little crisper.

Anyway, they turned out really well. I’m definitely going to enjoy my mandoline!
