Weigh to Lose

Trying to get healthier and look better…one blog post at a time!

I’ve always been a big fan of granola. Turns out it isn’t the greatest thing point-wise, but it tastes good and healthy. So, there’s some granola cooling off in the kitchen. From what I’ve tasted, it’s good! Here’s the recipe:

2 cups old fashioned oats

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/8 cup honey

1/4 cup olive oil

1 tsp. vanilla

2 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Mix together and spread onto a baking sheet. Bake at 275 for 40 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes or so. Cool and eat!

I didn’t really have any extras to put into the granola (nuts, raisins, etc.) so I just made the granola base. I may make some of it into a trail mix sort of thing if I ever get to the store, but for now it’s just plain granola.
